Our Program

Program Schedule & Curriculum

Year oneCampus Session Dates
The program begins in January with an on-campus session where students begin three classes and learn the distance education technology. Assignments and projects are completed via distance, and the courses conclude with a campus session in March.

From April through November of the first year, students take courses at a distance. No course work is scheduled for December.

Year two
The second year starts with a campus session, and courses in applied econometrics and policy analysis. As before, these courses are completed via distance and end with an on-campus session in March.

During the summer months, students take behavioral management and marketing via distance. Students complete the course work with agribusiness management in the fall.

A required business elective may be taken either at K-State or at a university of the student's choice during the program.

Year three
Year three of the program is spent researching and writing a thesis on a company-related issue. The project takes about six months to complete with graduation anticipated in August.
