Admission Requirements

Admission into the Master of Agribusiness program requires: Chad Bontrager

n
Bachelor's degree with at least a 3.0 GPA
n
Two years of professional work experience
n
Personal computer proficiency
n

Undergraduate courses in:
o Accounting
o Statistics
o Macroeconomics
o Microeconomics or Agricultural Economics

Applicants without all the required courses may be admitted on a provisional basis with the understanding that deficiencies will be made up in appropriate undergraduate courses.

Applicants who have a lower than required grade point average may be required to take the GMAT or GRE. If admitted, admission status will be probationary until the first nine credit hours of study are satisfactorily completed.

International applicants are encouraged to submit their score from the Internet-based Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL IBT). Visit their site at www.toefl.org for more information.

A score of at least 550 (paper-based), or 79 (IBT - internet-based) on the TOEFL is required to be considered for admission to the Graduate School. Applicants with scores of 600 (paper-based), or 100 (IBT - internet-based) or above may be considered for regular admission. Applicants should have the official score report sent electronically to the Graduate School at Kansas State University, institution code #6334, department 99.

Applicants with scores between 550/79 and 599/99 may be required to demonstrate proficiency in written and oral English at the time of enrollment. Applicants must have a minimum of 79 on the TOEFL IBT to be considered for admission to a graduate program. Applicants with part scores of less than 20 on any one of the following: reading, writing, or listening sections may be considered for provisional admission and required to take the English Proficiency Test (EPT).
